Harbour Care

Harbour rings every day.

It’s an AI voice that phones the person you look after for a proper chat. Afterwards, you get a few lines on how they sounded and anything worth knowing.

Ask for a place

On top of your own calls and visits. Never instead of them.

After each call, a text

A minute’s read: how they sounded, what came up, and whether anything needs a look. Often it’s just a nice bit of their day.

Example note

From: HarbourTuesday, 11:24am

Hi Sarah. I spoke to your mum at 10:30 for about 12 minutes. She was cheerful and chatty.

She’s had breakfast and said she slept well. She’s looking forward to Pat coming round on Thursday.

Worth knowing: she mentioned twice that she couldn’t find her glasses, and she wasn’t sure if she’d taken her morning tablets.

Next call: tomorrow at 10:30.

An example of the note you’d get after a call. Names and details are made up.

A chat is worth having

The garden, the news, what’s for tea, who’s popping round on Thursday. Some people enjoy the company. Some just like being asked. Either way, it’s a conversation every day.

You still ring, visit and fuss. Harbour adds a daily thread of their everyday news, so your own calls have somewhere to start, and you hear early if something seems different.

It’s for anyone you look after: a parent, grandparent, partner, neighbour or friend, including people living with dementia.

The call, the note, and you

The call
At a time that suits them, from one number you save in their phone as “Harbour”, so they know who it is and don’t mistake it for a scam. It’s an AI voice, and it says so. It chats about their day, their plans and whatever they fancy.
The note
A short text to you: how they sounded, what they talked about, and anything to keep an eye on, such as not eating, a fall, or feeling low.
You
You decide what, if anything, to do: ring them, pop round, or ask someone else to look in. Harbour never acts on your behalf.

Harbour is not an emergency or medical service

It does not give medical advice and it does not replace care. In an emergency call 999. For urgent medical advice call 111.

Calls only go ahead with the agreement of the person being called, and they can stop them at any time. Read how Harbour keeps people safe.
